Administrative Office, located at 21225 Lorain Road in Fairview Park is open weekdays 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Director of Recreation is the head of the Recreation Department and is in charge of all municipally owned or operated recreational premises, areas, playgrounds, facilities and the improvement or construction thereof. The Director also makes all necessary rules and regulations for the Recreation Department and its operations.
The Gemini Center is closed New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

RECREATION AND COMMUNITY CENTER: (93,000 Square Feet)
The Gemini Center is our state-of-the-art Community and Recreation Complex and is the home of the Fairview Park Recreation Department. This gem, in the heart of our city, provides a place for residents to gather for special occasions, athletic competition and family fun.
Amenities of the center include a gymnasium with a wooden floor, two high school basketball courts dividable into four junior size basketball courts or three volleyball courts with electronic score boards. A multi-purpose gymnasium has a rubberized floor striped for soccer and volleyball, built-in soccer goals, observation area for teams, batting/golf driving cage, elevated wrestling mat movers and scoreboards. Between the two gymnasiums is a game room filled with video games and sitting area with television is also included.
Also included on the first floor are two Aerobics Rooms with shock absorbing wooden floors, storage areas and individual sound systems in each room. The concession stand just off of the rotunda has table seating for 40, counter seating and a vending machine area.
The mezzanine level houses the fitness/cardio areas, free weights, circuit training and a 1/12th mile, four lane track and virtual game room.
THE COMMUNITY ROOM: (Evergreen Room) can be divided into three separate rooms (the Maple, Oak, and Birch Rooms) with each being serviced by kitchens of various sizes and amenities, including a portable dance floor, video screen capabilities, meeting room/bar area (the Willow Room), and outdoor party area. (Total 5,716 total square feet)
THE AQUATICS AREA features:
Leisure Pool:
Three 25-yard lap lanes, flume waterslides, zero depth pool entry, lazy river, vortex, SCS play feature, six person spa, sauna and party classroom (Wave Room.)
Competition Pool:
Six 25-yard lap lanes, two one-meter boards, Colorado Timing System and seating for approximately 270 spectators.
Splash Ground:
Spray area, water features include bubblers, tippy buckets, misters and waterjets, dry playground area, concession stand, pavilion seating and large shade umbrellas.
CITY PARKS:
The City of Fairview Park is home to five parks: Bain Park, Bohlken Park, Grannis Park, Morton Park and Nelson Russ. To rent Bain Park Cabin or Bain Park Pavilion, please call Mary at 440-356-4444, Ext. 109.
